Professor Peter Webley is Director of UAF’s Center for Innovation and the Associate Director of Research at Alaska Center for UAS Integration. An inducted member of the Alaska Innovators Hall of Fame and former VP of UAF’s first startup, V-ADAPT, Inc., he is a patented scientist and entrepreneur. Peter has a BSc in Geophysics and an MSc in Atmospheric Sciences, both from the University of East Anglia, UK and a PhD in Remote Sensing from the University of Reading, UK. Today, Dr. Webley actively mentors faculty and students in commercializing innovative solutions and the transition of academic innovation research into scalable opportunities for Alaska and the Arctic.
