Founder
Sarah Waimon is a registered nurse, entrepreneur, and founder of Waimon Innovations, a Rhode Island-based MedTech company. With more than 16 years of nursing experience, Sarah turned a firsthand clinical challenge with splash exposure into Looey®, a nurse-designed splash guard created to contain splash-back at the source. She has led Looey® from clinical concept through design, development, pilot testing, and commercialization, and is now bringing the product into commercial production with manufacturing based in Rhode Island. A passionate nurse-innovator, Sarah believes the best healthcare solutions often come from the people experiencing the problem firsthand and is dedicated to empowering nurses to turn frontline observations into meaningful, scalable healthcare innovations.
