Maggie Longo
A 30-year statewide hospitality veteran, Maggie has played a vital role in Rhode Island's celebrated hospitality scene as the driving force behind a number of the city's culinary hotspots; a multi-unit operator for a Rhode Island-based restaurant group; the Director of Food + Beverage for a number of high-profile hotel openings; and served as their National Director of New Store Openings for an award-winning upscale-casual brand. Since joining the RI Small Business Development Center in 2020, Maggie has been able to use her lengthy experience to assist businesses as they navigate the challenges associated with the pandemic, as well as assist in their planning for expansion, growth and start up endeavors. Recently, a lot of Longo’s focus has been in the first-stage food maker/manufacturer sector, working to assist with their strategic planning, operational systems development, and next-stage project management.
